An executive roundtable exploring the role of Rwandan authors and writers in shaping the future of learning materials. The discussion will examine how local writers can contribute to the development of relevant, high-quality and culturally grounded content that responds to the changing needs of learners.
Drawing on lessons from the UNESCO Book Sector Report, the conversation will bring together authors, publishers, educators, policymakers and other stakeholders to explore the opportunities and challenges of creating stronger pathways between Rwanda’s creative talent and its education system.
The roundtable will consider how Rwandan stories, knowledge, languages and creative expertise can contribute to the next generation of learning materials, while identifying the partnerships, skills and support systems needed to enable local authors to play a greater role in the future of education.
